I met up with Christine and Matt at their property on a sunny summer Sunday. I couldn’t believe I was lucky enough to get two amazing days in a row. The weather around here has been so unpredictable so this felt like winning the lottery. It was the perfect piece of property and it made for a stunning flower farm engagement session. While we were photographing their session, I learned that Matt grew all the flowers himself! As a certified black thumb, I was in awe. I can’t even keep a cactus alive over here.
Getting to dance around in fields, and snuggle up in a row of wildflowers makes for a pretty good engagement session if you ask me! We didn’t have to go far to find a variety of backdrops to take advantage of. Barn-check, flowers-check, fields basking in golden sunlight – check. The session was made even better by Christine and Matt themselves! I love getting to know my couples and these two were so kind and cute together. I can’t wait to photograph them again on their wedding day, next year at Traditions.
This engagement session had an extra special surprise. Christine informed me that her and Matt are expecting their first child. So, of course we had to do a few cute announcement photos. They were both so excited when talking about their newest addition and I’m excited for them! And bonus, there will be a cute baby to ooo and ahhhh over at their wedding next year!
Or maybe you and your partner at another meaningful location? Send me a message and we can set something up! Bonus, if you book your wedding with me, all my packages come with an engagement session.
