The allure of the Adirondacks with its majestic mountains, serene lakes, and the scent of campfires always washes over me like a wave of nostalgia.

An Adirondack Wedding Weekend

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Ali and Trae’s Adirondack wedding, which was nothing short of spectacular. Held at Camp Gorham near Old Forge, this multi-day affair treated guests to a real summer camp experience, while also commemorating the union of two remarkable individuals. Their wedding was a true reflection of their love, and every photograph captured the genuine laughter and affection that defines Ali and Trae’s relationship.

A Camp Gorham Wedding

As I arrived at Camp Gorham, I couldn’t help but appreciate the significance of the location to the couple. Not only was it a stunning setting, but it held deep personal meaning for them as they had spent years as a part of Camp Gorham. After capturing the getting ready moments, we ventured to a secluded nook near the water for their first look. The picturesque woods and tranquil waters served as a perfect backdrop for capturing their portraits. We returned to the main camp area after, where a birch tree arbor awaited them. Underneath its branches, with the lake behind them, Ali and Trae exchanged their vows.

The festivities continued with a delightful dinner in the camp’s dining hall along with funny and meaningful toasts. Laughter and conversations filled the air as guests relished in the joyous celebration. As the evening progressed, guests made their way down to the lake for a night of dancing.
