Renée reached out to me via Instagram because like so many other couples, her and Chris had to reschedule their original wedding due to Covid. Luckily I was available on their new date for their Franklin Square elopement in July! The afternoon started off with Renée and Chris getting married in front of a small gathering of family and friends (and the gorgeous Franklin Square fountain).

After the I Do’s we captured some family photos and then I got to wander around Franklin Square with the couple. I love Franklin Square. It is one of the most popular parks for wedding photos, but I don’t mind because it’s so versatile! It’s got flowers, trees, bricks, beautiful pathways, and the creek! I’ve shot their so so many times and I never get bored, there are always fun new areas to explore.

After the couples photos, we made our way over Francesca’s Cucina for the reception. While big dance parties are not currently allowed, Renée and Chris were able to have their first dance and parents dances. They also had beautiful and touching toasts from their maid of honor and best man.

Before dinner was served we popped back outside for a few more photos. It was such a fun little wedding and Renée and Chris are incredibly lovely people. I had so much fun documenting the day for them. Enjoy the photos 🙂
