Winter sessions can be a little bit tricky around here. Often it’s cold, and gray, and if there’s not snow on the ground everything just ends up looking dead and gross. Luckily for Kerry and Jon, Oneonta had plenty of snow AND sunshine when we did their engagement session (don’t be fooled by Kerry’s dress, it was still super chilly).

We started the session off at a local park where they love to walk their gorgeous pup. After some snowy park photos and a quick outfit change we headed to the cute little downtown area of Oneonta. Having never been to Oneonta before I didn’t know what to expect, but I loved all of the brick walls and the splashes of light that appeared everywhere!

We finished the session off with one last outfit change to showcase Jon and Kerry’s love of punk rock music. It was the perfect ending as we got a splash of beautiful golden hour light.

I can’t wait to spend more time with these two this summer when they say “I do!”
