One sweet couple, one beautiful backdrop, and one golden evening. That’s what I ended up with when I met up with Kaitlyn and Travis at the Locust Hill Country Club for their Rochester engagement session. Since their wedding will be held here later this year, we thought it was the perfect place to snap a few frames.
These two were so easy to photograph and naturally fell into each other, which led to these quiet, loving frames. As the evening unfolded, a warm golden light enveloped them, casting a soft glow that embraced their connection. It’s moments like these that make engagement sessions so special.
Engagement sessions are more than just a pre-wedding photo op. They offer a wonderful opportunity for couples to get comfortable in front of the camera, easing any jitters before the big day. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other better, creating a relaxed environment where genuine moments can unfold naturally. Plus, who doesn’t love having beautiful photos to commemorate this exciting time in their lives?
Another benefit of engagement sessions is that they allow couples to personalize their wedding journey. Whether it’s choosing a meaningful location like Locust Hill Country Club for Kaitlyn and Travis or incorporating hobbies and interests, these sessions reflect the couple’s unique story. The photos can also be used for save-the-dates, wedding websites, or even as decor on the wedding day itself.
In a few months, I’ll be back in Rochester, documenting Kaitlyn and Travis’s wedding day as they spend it with their family and friends. I can’t wait to capture more beautiful moments and continue telling their love story. If you’re planning your own wedding, consider scheduling an engagement session to capture the magic of this special time. Let’s create something beautiful together!
