The great thing about Skaneateles is that not only is it beautiful, but there are a variety of accommodation options for you and your guests. It’s a lovely town and has incredible water views.

Also, a unique feature of the venue is that you can work alongside an Executive Head Chef who will help you create your ideal wedding menu. This includes the possibility of adding a fiery parmesan cheese wheel, a liquid nitrogen ice cream station, a build-your-own s’more station, and even more incredible options. 

Aster Weddings & Events

Do you want a wedding venue that feels like a mystical forest wedding surrounded by twinkling lights and native trees? Then Aster Weddings and Events might be the venue you’ve been looking for.

This venue is ideal for a small or medium-sized wedding and will give you a private, romantic celebration that includes stunning landscaped grounds and charming natural beauty. To make this venue even more swoon-worthy, when the sun sets, you can dance the night away underneath the stars. 

Sinclair of Skaneateles

The Sinclair of Skaneateles is a timeless indoor/outdoor wedding venue with a rich history and a charming historical building. It was once the old Sinclair Chair Factory built in 1871 on Skaneateles Creek. 

This is such a fun, fresh wedding venue that is both historic and modern. One of the best parts of it, in my opinion, is that it’s a one-stop shop for your wedding day.  There are spots for getting ready, a ceremony, portraits, and the reception!

Mirbeau Inn & Spa

Mirbeau Inn and Spa is a private, beautiful oasis set against a backdrop of natural beauty. Your wedding here will feel like a whimsical fairytale set in the storybook village of Skaneateles. 

You’ll have views of a forest, a lagoon, landscaped grounds, and even more. This is an ideal spot for a smaller or micro wedding. 

Matt and Jennie’s Wedding at Sinclair of Skaneateles

Matt and Jennie had a beautiful August wedding at Sinclair of Skaneateles. They knew that they wanted a wedding where they could relax, enjoy their day, and spend time with their family and friends at a unique, picturesque venue, making Sinclair of Skaneateles the perfect fit. 

Sinclair of Skaneateles provides you with visits to develop floorplans, helps you develop your wedding timeline and run through your rehearsal, and works with you to ensure everything goes smoothly throughout your wedding.

I really love this venue and all that it has to offer. Another unique feature that I have to mention is that there’s a fence outside where all the couples who get married are invited to attach a lock with their names on it. How romantic is that? 

For Matt and Jennie’s wedding, they wanted documentary-style photography, which was so much fun to capture and also felt perfect for this wedding venue. 

Also, documentary-style photography was ideal for Matt and Jennie because they wanted to stay fully in the present on their wedding day without worrying about spending all day taking photos. 

Another beautiful feature of their wedding was the inclusion of wildflowers in the decor, which they worked with Withy Hollow Flower Farm. Adding wildflowers was such a personal touch that it connected them with nature and highlighted the beauty of the surrounding landscape of New York.
