Chelsea & Navid | More Than Words | Boston, MA

When I first talked to Chelsea and Navid they were planning a wedding weekend in the Adirondacks for all of their family and friends. However, due to travel restrictions with family out of the country, their plans had to change drastically. They decided to get married in Ireland and then host a reception in Boston for all of their stateside pals. While I photograph weddings mainly in upstate NY, I am always excited when I get a chance to travel to new locations so I’m so glad Chelsea and Navid trusted me as their Boston wedding photographer

Even though changing wedding plans like that can be stressful and difficult, Chelsea and Navid took it in stride. They found an amazingly unique location for their wedding reception, a local bookstore! More Than Words transformed their sales floor into the perfect space to host a party.

I meet up with Chelsea and her girlfriends at her Boston flat. We started the day taking a bunch of fun photos of her and her friends. After our photoshoot with the girls, we met up with Navid and the three of us strolled around Boston taking portraits. I had so much fun incorporating the city into their photos!

After family photos we made our way to More Than Words for the party. Chelsea and Navid started the evening with a slideshow of their Ireland ceremony and as the photos finished playing, they made their entrance into the reception! It was such a fun night with delicious food and great music. Chelsea and Navid had live dueling piano’s that kept the dance floor hoppin’.

Finally we managed to sneak outside at the end of the night to get a few photos of the building lit up and showcasing their unique wedding venue.
