The drive to Sunni and Matt’s Catskill Wedding was beautiful. The sun was shining as I arrived at the Windham Mountain Resort where everyone had gathered to get ready

After Sunni and Matt got ready and had a sweet first look at the bottom of the mountain, we took the ski lift up to the top. A fun fact about this wedding is that this was the first time I had ever been on a chair lift. Yes, I was terrified, but I managed to get on it and not fall off, so I am calling it a win.

At the top of the mountain we got to take some spectacular portraits. After photo time, the rest of the guests joined us at the top and Sunni and Matt had their breathtaking ceremony. Right as they said I do, the skies darkened. I managed to get one family photo in, and then we ran for the ski lift. Sunni and Matt hoped on and I followed in the lift behind them. Another first, riding down a ski lift during a thunderstorm! It was terrifying but also made for some great photos, so another win in my book! We made it to the bottom just in time to get Sunni and Matt inside before the rain really let loose.

After everyone got down off the mountain safely, and people had a chance to dry off, the guests gathered for an amazing reception. Sunni and Matt love to party and dance so they made sure they had an amazing band to play all night. Paradigm absolutely killed it and the dance floor was packed!

It was such a fun and adventurous day at this Catskill Wedding with Sunni and Matt and I’m so glad I was there to document it all!
